Info Post
actually I am not a girl for pants at all. I love everything about dresses. their playfulness, their variety and that they remind me of summer days spent on daisy covered meadows eating strawberries.
but then I got enamoured and had a bit on the side with this lovely little piece of fabric that unmistabkably was to be the upper part of an ensemble.
so yes, a girl has got to have her principles but sometimes she needs to just put on those jeans to give lovely tops a chance.
and see: strawberries still fit in.flower headband: diy. top: h&m. necklace: h&m. bangles: vintage& h&m. jeans: h&m. oxford booties: topshop.

having a close-up on the upper picture reveals my current piece of lecture: `playing with the grown-ups´by sophie dahl.
I am not fond of supporting the dubious trend of young hollywood girls mistaking their current state of fame for the ability of being artisticly omnitalented but I learned this is a different issue.
not only is sophie dahl a model for quite some time with a career going beyond looking `hot´ on the cover of seventeen, also is her grandfather roald dahl which might have given her some feel for the delicate play with words.
I didn´t want to be too striked by that in the beginning since in the end: what´s in a name? -and the dahl heritage is not neccessarily a genetic thing but sophie´s novel surprised me all for the positive. for me, one of the most difficult thing for an author is the task of creating a real atmosphere aside of felicitously setting a story.
the atmosphere in `playing with the grown-ups´ then is set with such relish you can just smell the scents of hay house in all its dreamy glory.
