ya, so yesterday night was.. turbulent. note: keep your hands off the tequila when you´re planning on discussing controversial issues such as theatre auditions.on a completely different note someting occurred to me more and more lately:
what I think is very remarkable about the blogging world is that it created a very own sense of fashion, homogenous in itself with certain streams of stylistic elements regularly arising that the scene will approve of wholisticly, but very seperated from what fashion might mean outside of this sphere.
so while cutoff shorts was the absolute item in summer within the blogosphere, now even cleaving into the colder seasons paired with leggings and tights, still boldly showing inner pockets, the real world barely took notice of the catchy simplicity a pair of cutoffs holds. not even speaking of the sea of possibilites that´s looming in combining the former jeans with either simple or outstanding items.
thus, no wonder that whilst I´m running around town in a randomly thrown together combo more or less hippie most of the days I will get glances from people while the exact same outfit will get outstanding praise as soon as posted on here.
now, this is something to think about whilst sipping my gingerbread latte this saturday morning.
