I know that certain gucci collection is already some seasons old but this didn´t stop me from getting these killers today. this is just another perfect example of how, beyond the rise and fall of trends, fashion can be timeless. the inspiration for the baboushka collection comes straight from the late sixties/early seventies and I can see myself dancing summer away in those beauties in ten years. if this isn´t about embracing the decades, then I don´t know what is.
for as long as I had fallen in love with the studded baboushka sandal, I was searching for the equally glorious bootie from the same collection.
today I finally got my hands onto a very similar, yet more ankle-boot-ish pair, thanks to a friend who drew my attention to them.
spending a fortune wasn´t required either because obviously these are a knockoff version but they´re great quality and I like them to-studs.
