I have a little story: yesterday, after spending all day in the sun lying in the grass and looking at the few clouds lazily passing by I went to meet a friend to grab some food and drinks. we had a lovely evening outside in a little café giving each other books and talking over glasses of wine until when we wanted to leave I realized I had lost my purse. of course I looked for it everywhere and returned to the park today to see if maybe it was still there, naturally with little success. I am kind of stunned that after a brief moment of adrenaline I feel little affected by this now. of course it will be a bit of a hussle to get everything back but I realized the direct effect of not having access to money won't really change the way I will live this upcoming week, and I am really glad I feel this way. it might be useful to be a little detached once in a while.
