ellen von unwerths short films have been an issue of controvery some time ago for creating a doll-like image of women.
to me, they still are a source of inspiration, I love the adorable quirkyness and the vintage feeling about them.
I don´t want to mention now feministic aspects because I assume a girl to be able watching a sugar-coated work like this without seeing her life-task in being pretty and smiling quietly afterwards.
