Info Post
with the summer's lingering ardency I haven't been too interested in anything fashion related lately.
beyond doubt I still wear things but it's become more of a halfhearted consequence as not to go naked.
well not completely, considering some of my dresses.
I suffer from summer sickness as always at this time of the year.
it seems as if what I always find fault with concerning the colder seasons
- the more effortful way of getting dressed-
is so very alluring and glittering to me now.

it was nice to dress without any effort for the past months, living in short dresses, sheer shirts and cutoffs but now I can't wait to put on the heavy fur coats, rough tights and leather boots while I am happy to take some well know and beloved companions with me into the new season (SEQUINS! STUDS!).
I will enjoy every layer of it while strutting down leaf-covered alleys.
maybe it's a lust for a change in lifestyle that adds to my mental fatigue;
as mild as the nights are summer seems to be a repitition of everything done and worn now-
all I seem to do these days is going out late, drown myself in something bubbly, return in the early morning hours and sleep untill noon then.
a variation is staying in with wine, music and books but still I won't hit the bed before 2AM, again resulting in sleeping in late.
it is kind of luxurious for some time but becomes more and more dull with the season's progress.
after the estival excess I am more than ready for autumn and the starting courses to add some early morning glory to the late night inebriation.
you see, I'm looking for layers.
in clothing and in my agenda.
and just when I'm getting myself some fresh chai latte and pull out the moleskine notebook to get next month's moving plans cleared I receive the preview for the
Kate Moss for Topshop AW09 Collection
in my inbox which seems to fulfill all my cravings:

oversized sweaters.ripped tights.massive fur coats.studded details.shiny little dresses.sheer fabric.

the ever so vibrant, inspiring, eclectic
KATE
definitely adds to my excitement but the overall collection looks like the perfect image of everything Fall I'm awaiting feverishly.
I found the first tiny chestnut this week and while getting some of the late summer sun I know that next season is not far away.
