they say in all beginning dwells a magic force and to say the least the start of my university life has been turbulent so far.I got into the train via hildesheim (uni town) on sunday 5am as I finished a play the night before and thus couldn't make it any earlier.
the rush through the late night and into the new day led directly into the eventfulness of starter's week that left me quite breathless with all of the activities and input.
I feel like the center of a crazy whirl of faces, names, information and places and the fact that I caught a nasty cold doesn't help much.
I'm off to hamburg for the play again this weekend which I am utterly relieved about right now because as much as I'm excited to finally begin my studies of literature and theatre I am quite overwhelmed and feel like I need to catch my breath once again before the semester and lectures begin next week which in my opinion will be much more representative of university than all of the compressed information I sucked in during the past days.

tonight I'll trade any uni party seduction for chai tea and chocolate, watching a movie, taking care of my lecture schedule and making plans for my parents who are coming to see me tomorrow.
