yesterday I:wore the sex dress and the gorilla costume. took the cab far too often. wore the most amazing fake lashes. read my text, secretly cursing myself for taking the handwritten version with me. lost various sparklers. realized that lately I might love the idea of being in love a little more than actually being in love. didn't feel like talking to people. danced with myself most of the time with my eyes closed. decided to lay down and relax a little on a couch at some point. fell asleep. woke up to the sound of the beatles' 'I want to hold your hand'. took another cab to a friend's place to empty her flatmate's fridge sitting on the kitchen floor.
today I:
woke up in a friend's bed in full make up (including said lashes' awesomeness). made my way home feeling like a fuzzy creature of night in harsh contrast to the working population. am getting used to the fact of my first semester being over already. counting on the magic powers of healing earth in facials. cannot wait to get my head into the projects I have ahead of me during the free period. will probably finish the day in some karaoke bar.
right now I'm sitting on my window sill waiting for the pizza I ordered, filling my lungs with the air that despite the melting snow holds a subtle note of sunshine, soon to be returning migrant birds and sleeping bulbs.
