when asked, she went away dreamy-eyed wondering for days about the thing she had never questioned.
in fact she never felt alone. there was the moon, there were songs to be written, there were black and white movie girls with very short hair, there were stories in her head and roses to be dried and there were about a thousand things to learn about like how to tame a fox or how to add edible flowers to vegetarian dishes of brown rice and vegetables or how to meditate yourself into a state of stardust.
she also liked being around people and dance through the streets with a bunny mask on, bursting out into wild laughter in the metro making funny faces and talk untill the sun would rise over the bottles of wine when the fake lashes had come off hours ago.
it was just that to her being alone was not lonely, it was just another way to spend her time, so she didn't think about it much and, when she found them after a day in the library, would write another wolflady's words down with a little smile, adding a glittery star sticker to the note.
/Cherish your solitude. Take trains by yourself to places you have never been. Sleep out alone under the stars. Learn how to drive a stick shift. Go so far away that you stop being afraid of not coming back. Say no when you don't want to do something. Say yes if your instincts are strong, even if everyone around you disagrees. Decide whether you want to be liked or admired .Decide if fitting in is more important than finding out what you're doing here.//
