the trees are letting go of their green dresses and I think about how fierce they are facing these months without layering in even more leaves the colours of golden explosure. this way I can walk over them and they make this lovely crunching sound that reminds you autumn is here with all of its chai tea and reading and the tiny raindrops on your skin.
so I say silent goodbyes to picnics in the park and rooftop nights of meditation. or maybe I'll find the ways to take them to the colder days with layers of wool and blankets and enough candles to rival the night skies.
I'm learning about the right use of herbs and moon phases in a place where even the most spectacular of asteroid showers is outshone by the city lights listening to peaches, plums and pears.
